COMMITTEE

President’s Message

Dear Members,

As we unveil our newly refreshed CSC website, we mark an exciting chapter in our Club’s journey of renewal and progress. This digital milestone reflects our commitment to staying connected, accessible and relevant as we approach our centenary.

One of the defining highlights of 2025 was the SG60 Sports, Cultural & Community Carnival, held at our historic Balestier grounds. More than a celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence, it was a powerful expression of unity, wellness and community spirit. We were deeply honoured by the presence of Minister of State Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, whose support reaffirmed CSC’s meaningful role within Singapore’s vibrant sporting landscape.

From futsal and kabaddi to aikido and lawn bowls, the Carnival showcased the diversity of sports that bring generations together. Mass yoga sessions, wellness talks and complimentary health screenings reflected our belief that well-being is holistic — strengthening not only the body, but also our shared bonds as a community.

For nearly a century, CSC has stood proudly at Balestier Plain as a home for sporting excellence and cultural heritage. As we look ahead, we remain committed to being a place where sport meets culture, where wellness meets joy, and where every individual — regardless of age, background or ability — feels welcome.

My sincere thanks to our Committee, partners and members for your continued dedication and support. Together, we honour our legacy while shaping the future of the Ceylon Sports Club.

Warm regards,
A. Kanesananathan
President
